I am happy to report that my last post appears to have been way off from reality. That wouldn't be the first time, would it? I just received the following news today from our agency's office staff:
"I spoke with S this morning and he said that Nahom should be paper ready within the next few weeks. I will let you know as soon as he is filed for court."
This is such great and hopeful news for us. I have no idea what the timeframe really looks like, but we are so very pleased to have forward movement.

Hi there! My name is Gina Lister and I am adopting through Hope in St. Louis MO. Is this the agency you are with? I am actually with Nightlight in SC, but they are going through Hope for the orphanage. I have also heard that court dates will be given in the next 3-4 weeks for those of us who have not been given a date yet. I would love to talk with you if we are with the same agency. I hope you hear good news this week.
